In July 2021, The Sycamore at Chatham Mills kicked off its journey, led by an experienced restaurant owner who already had a strong following from his previous venture in the same town. However, even after a year, they weren’t getting the attention they had hoped for. Despite serving great food, creating a wonderful atmosphere, and putting in a lot of effort on social media, they weren’t showing up in online searches, and they weren’t getting enough new customers through their doors. They had ambitious goals: wanting to stay open five days a week instead of three, increase their sales, and make more profit overall.
